One Final down 3 to go.  Hardest one tommorrow.

Cant wait till Friday.

Wednesday I go in for my first day of training for my new job.  Only bad thing it is 10 of OSHA training.  10 hours of how not to injure your self on the job.  any way I am really excited for may 23 because that is my first real day of work.  finally i get to have a consistent life.  no more tests, no more homework, no football.  I wonder what its like.  Maybe I will actually have some time to play golf and fish.

Portico last night was excellent.  thank you to my set up tear down crew you guys and gals are awesome.

For those of you who dont do anything around 5 oclock on sunday night I could always use help on the setup.

Also thank you to all of those who came and helped at workday.  The place looks awesome.  and just in case you had a question on the choice of colors(blue and red), we just wanted to remind people that there are still many sinners out there who need to see the light.

Wow what an awesome weekend.  I am very excited in the new opportunities we are about to have as a community.   I am excited to see commitment from many great people.  Many great minds pulled together to further the community we call Portico.

I just encourage everyone in our gathering to stay committed more now than they ever have.

The more I think about life the more I realize I am blessed every day. First there are certain things that we dont think about.  Like having to worry about if I am gonna get food today or whether or not there will be someone waiting at my home to shoot me because I am a Christ follower.  or what would have happend if I wasnt raised in a Christian home and wasnt a christ follower what would my life be like.  Or if I didnt have a Godly girlfreind to support me and help me deal with life or if I didnt have Godly freinds how much harder would it be to stand up for Christ.  Or if I didnt live in the bible belt and goin to church wasnt the "thing to do"

Or what about our soldiers fightin for us.  we get to sleep in a good bed and AC when they are out there fightin to keep us safe. and have to sleep in the sand with scorpions and stuff crawlin on there pillow.  My deepest thanks to all  of them who have took up for us by puttin there life on the line for us.  And also to those who are now watchin out for us from a better place than here that gave the ultimate for us.

We are all called to be something.  Whether a pastor, a carpenter, an engineer, an accountant, a teacher or a soldier.  We are all called by God to do the tasks he has in store for our lives.  We should always be aware that our lives are a daily, second by second picture of him in what ever we do.
